We are looking to appoint a hardworking, committed, skilled and ambitious practitioner who wants to make a real difference to children’s lives and is ready and able to take on a role teaching The Dolphin School children and working in harmony with staff, families and other key stakeholders. We have an ambitious vision for the future and very high standards for what can be achieved. We are constantly striving to provide them with an outstanding education.

In particular we are looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about how children learn best with a genuine belief that all children can succeed.
  • Is flexible, with a good sense of humour. 
  • Is hard working, creative and keen to develop their own practice to make it the best it can be.
  • Is someone who is a confident professional, keen to share their knowledge and understanding with others.
  • Is an innovative practitioner looking for the best in others.
  • Has the capacity to demonstrate their resilience to cope with the daily challenges that working in a busy, successful inner city school can bring.
  • Has deep pedagogical knowledge of teaching and learning to help children realise their academic potential
  • Believes that The Foundation Stage provides the building blocks for a child’s school life
