This outlines our process, criteria and appeals process for children starting in Reception in September.

  • Reception           1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020
  • Year 1                 1 September 2018 and 31 August 2019
  • Year 2                 1 September 2017 and 31 August 2018
  • Year 3                 1 September 2016 and 31 August 2017
  • Year 4                 1 September 2015 and 31 August 2016
  • Year 5                 1 September 2014 and 31 August 2015
  • Year 6                 1 September 2013 and 31 August 2014

IN YEAR ADMISSIONS

In Year admissions are managed by the school.

In Year admissions should be made on the in year application form at the bottom of this webpage.  You will be notified of the admission decision within 15 school days.

If we are not able to offer your child a place, you have a right to appeal and information will be provided in the letter of acknowledgement.  A request for an in year appeal can be found at the end of this webpage.

Applications to places in the school during the academic year can also be made directly at the school. Please contact the school either by email, phone or in person to the school office.

 

Reception Starters for September 2024

If your child was born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020, you need to apply for a new reception school place to your home local authority. 

The closing date for applying was 15th January 2024. Our Reception September admissions is managed by Bristol City Council. You can find out more here.

If your child has special educational needs, please feel free to get in touch as we would be happy to hear from you and talk to you about how we could support your child.
