Lynn is a Higher Education Professional who has worked at the Universities of Warwick, Birmingham and latterly at the University of Bristol as Deputy Registrar. At Bristol Lynn was responsible for all of the student facing services including student wellbeing and inclusion and pedagogic support. Lynn was formerly a trustee of Venturers Trust as a University of Bristol nominated member and was delighted to be asked to join the Dolphin Governing Body when she stood down from the University and Board. Lynn took over as Chair in January 2021.

Peter Huckle
Co-opted Governor
Peter is a Bristolian with over 42 years experience of teaching in both the state and independent sector in the city. He has worked with young people from 4-18, having been a Senior School Deputy Head and ending his career as the Head of a large local Infant and Junior School. He is married with 3 children (all of whom have worked in primary and secondary schools) and has 2 grandchildren. In addition to his family and education, he has a great passion for sport. He had a long career officiating in the world of professional rugby union, working in the Premiership, in Europe and at International matches and is now coaching elite Assistant Referees. He is delighted to have the opportunity to play a part in the continuous development of the Dolphin School and hopes to provide significant service and support to the school community.
Richard Wynn-Jones
Co-opted Governor
Richard is the named safeguarding governor for The Dolphin School. He practiced as a Solicitor first in London then in Bristol. As well as a being a Governor at three Primary Schools Richard is a Trustee at St Monica Trust.
James Ellis
Parent Governor
James is a parent governor and has two children attending at The Dolphin School.
He has spent the last 20 years working with enterprise telecommunications software; originally helping launch mobile networks and more recently in digital transformation programmes. James is the current health and safety governor.
Tasbiha Ali
Co-opted Governor
Tasbiha is a Chartered Accountant who joined SMV in January 2019 as the Charity Accountant, dealing with the Society’s invoicing, payments and receipts including events, fines and quarterage, along with the Hall staff payroll. She also helps to prepare the accounts for St Monica’s Trust, and many of the smaller charities and trust funds which the Society manages. This includes allocating investment income, invoicing for some rents and on the other side raising payment for bursaries and charitable donations.
